Recognizing the shape and size of a letter is a critical component of learning the letters of the alphabet and letter formation for handwriting. Created by Anna Long-Slade, OTR, this Letter Size Interactive Google Slide Deck will help reinforce and develop letter recognition skills in your students.
The Letter Sizing Interactive Google Slide Deck includes 18 different slides. You will receive a one page PDF with information on how to copy the slide deck immediately following payment.
How Does the Letter Sizing Activity Work?
- Make a copy of the slide deck to save on your Google drive. THIS GAME IS PLAYED IN EDIT MODE.
- Choose to sort, match, alphabetize and spelling using the uppercase and lowercase letters,
- Students will practice their letter recognition skills while reinforcing tall, small, and low letters.
When you are using Google™️ with Distance Learning Platforms, make a copy of the Google Sheets file. Share a link with the student to allow them to edit the file. You can both edit the file in real time.
If you are sharing your screen on a platform like ZOOM ™️ , you can give control of the mouse to the student to move the letter cards.
All of the letters are color coded by size:
- Blue Cards = Tall Letters
- Red Cards = Small Letters
- Yellow Cards = Low Letters
