How Do the Board Games for Kids Work:
- Immediately download the 46 page PDF document that includes 12 game boards and 12 draw the emotion game pages. Available in color AND black and white!
- Print the game boards or mark up the PDF as you play.
- Help children identify and discuss the different emotions.
How to Play the Emotion Board Games:
You will need some of these easy to find items: Board game markers or tokens such as foam shapes, mini erasers, coins, etc., and a die or pieces of paper cut into squares with numbers written on them to create paper dice.
To play the board game:
- The child rolls a die and moves their marker that number of spaces.
- Identify and discuss the emotion shown on the game board.
- Use the Draw the Emotion Game Pages to review the emotion and encourage drawing skills!
The emotions included are: angry, excited, frustrated, happy, sad, scared, surprised, and worried.
