WHO SHOULD USE THE DOMINANT HAND SCREENER?
This tool is for Occupational Therapists, COTAs, Physical Therapists, PTAs, physical education teachers or coaches.
WHY SHOULD YOU USE THE DOMINANT HAND SCREENER?
Hand dominance is the preference for using one hand over the other. For most people, this preference develops early in childhood and is usually well established by age six. Although hand dominance is not a hard-and-fast rule, it tends to be relatively stable over time. This means that most people will prefer to use their dominant hand for tasks such as writing, brushing their teeth, and throwing a ball.
When you are teaching children new motor skills, it can be helpful to know their hand dominance especially for skills like:
- handwriting
- throwing a ball
- using scissors
- tying their shoes and more!
This is a must-have tool for anyone who helps children practice motor skills. So don’t wait any longer – order your Dominant Hand Screener today!
This is included in the Shoe Tying Made Simple Course.
