HOW TO ADD PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TO THE GAME

If you want to add in some exercise or gross motor skill practice to this game it is quite simple. Place the game pieces on one side of the room and the placemat on a table on the other side of the room. Ask the student to perform locomotor skills such as skipping, hopping, or jumping to get to the game pieces and bring them back.

If you only have a small space, put the placemat on the table and the game pieces on the floor. The student has to squat down each time to select the correct game piece.

Short on time or perhaps your student prefers real world object? Get a real fork, knife, spoon, plate, napking and cup to play the game. This provides more real world practice!
