We have two versions of our Back to School Mad Libs printables. The first is designed for younger children, like those in 1st grade. This version features dotted lines to encourage proper letter formation and handwriting skills. The sentences are simple and the stories are engaging, covering topics like a child’s favorite books and the experience of buying a new, adjective backpack for school.
The second version is for older students, like middle schoolers and high schoolers. It has regular lines and slightly more complex stories. Use a number 2 pencil to complete the activities about a day in school. These Mad Libs are sure to make the first days of school even more exciting.
How to Use these Worksheets
