Mealtime can be difficult for parents of children with autism who have feeding difficulties.
It’s hard to know where to start when it comes to helping your child at mealtime and challenges in sensory integration may be a factor. You may feel overwhelmed, confused by your child’s mealtime behaviors, or not know how to introduce new foods. The MealSense Program is designed specifically for parents of children with autism who have feeding difficulties.
This Autism Feeding Issues – MealSense Program course provides you with knowledge and tools to make mealtimes less stressful and more enjoyable for both you and your child. MealSense is also great for Occupational Therapists to help support parents on their journey.
Following payment you will receive a PDF digital document with a password to access the five module course. There are no CEU’s awarded for this course.
MealSense was created by Audrey Trewin, OTD, OTR/L as part of her clinical doctorate work. She specializes in working with children who have challenges in sensory integration and provides feeding support for children who have picky feeding issues, challenging mealtime behaviors, delayed oral motor skills, and difficulty progressing to solid foods. Her approach is child and family-centered.
