Write several sight word cards that the group is learning. Give one sight word card to each child playing and create a duplicate pile of all the sight words. Cut out the list of action cards. Create two piles of cards face down – one of the sight words that you are using and one of the action cards.

The leader now turns over a sight word card and an action card. Call out the word and the action. Any child that is holding that sight word card begins performing the action.
